People from all walks of life gathered to celebrate the numerous accomplishments Tasco achieved during a combined 50 years as a public servant and elected official.
Councilwoman Tasco decided not to seek re-election as representative for the 9th Council District. For her dedication to her constituents and the City at-large, a Planning Committee comprised of community leaders, supporters, friends and family has organized this Celebration of Service in her honor.
This gathering is also an opportunity for Councilwoman Tasco to thank her supporters and for them to reflect on her many, many years of unselfish giving, both locally and nationally. Proceeds benefit the Marian B. Tasco Scholarship Fund at Bennett College.
