Oprah Winfrey flew into Atlanta late last week to tape an exclusive interview with Whitney Houston’s 19 year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina and other relatives. Oprah will air the interview on March 11 at 9 p.m on OWN’s “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” Meanwhile, according to TMZ, the L.A. County Coroner’s Office has received phone calls and emails from people claiming to be relatives of Whitney. The calls and emails have a common theme – the belief Whitney may have been murdered. At least one person claimed to have information supporting the murder theory.
The Disney Fantasy, the fourth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, was christened on March 1 during a star-studded christening celebration at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York City. On a night filled with celebrity performances from the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Nick Cannon and Heather Headley, it was Disney Fantasy Godmother, Mariah Carey, who took center stage for the christening moment. Similar to the famed New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square, Mariah led the audience in a countdown that triggered a 6-foot tall bottle of champagne in the Atrium Lobby to erupt and shower onlookers with confetti and streamers as a traditional bottle of champagne broke against the ship.
Ice Cube is currently writing the script for “Last Friday” and hopes Chris Tucker returns as the character Smokey. Tucker, who has not starred in a film since “Rush Hour 3,” is currently filming “The Silver Lining’s Playbook,” marking his first return to the silver screen since 2007. The film is set for release this November and also stars Robert DeNiro and Bradley Cooper.
In between sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week and throwing a party for the launch of his girlfriend Cassie’s new single, “King Of Hearts,” at L’Arc Club Paris, Sean “Diddy” Combs took Cassie on a shopping spree to Givenchy, Chopard and Rolex and then popped into the Colette Concept Store.
