From July 30-August 4, more than 10,000 members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity – representing 700 undergraduate and alumni chapters in the United States – will convene in Philadelphia, the location of the organization’s international headquarters for the organization’s 84th Grand Chapter Meeting and Conclave.
Among the convention’s highlights is the Kappa Conclave Health Fair & Community Service Event, which will be held at the School District of Philadelphia’s main building, 440 North Broad Street, on Saturday, July 27 from 10am-3pm.
The event will include free health screenings, cooking demonstrations, and school backpack giveaways.
In addition, Kappa Philly Fest will be held at Thomas Paine Plaza, located at 1401 JFK Blvd., across from City Hall, on Saturday, August 3 beginning at noon. This outdoor community festival will feature food trucks, live entertainment, visual artists, and much more.
