SUBURBAN NEWS: Montco sponsored household hazardous waste collection events begin

NORRISTOWN, Pa. – Montgomery County sponsored household hazardous waste collection events began on April 30. The events are by appointment only and pre-registration is required. 

No televisions, electronics or appliances are accepted at these chemical collections. Businesses and contractors will be turned away from these residential events.

Visit: www.montcopa.org/774/Accepted-Hazardous-Household-Waste-Items for a list of acceptable and unacceptable items, and safety guidelines. Register at: www.MontcoPARecycles.org.

Lower Merion Transfer Station, 1300 North Woodbine Avenue, Penn Valley

Montgomery County residents may also attend any Household Hazardous Waste event held in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Philadelphia Counties.
