Zakiya ‘Z’ Randall is top finalist on Golf Channel’s ‘Big Break Atlantis’

ATLANTA, GA– Since the age of 10, Z has been nothing short of amazing.

 

In her first summer of competitive play at age 11, she received the “Player of the Year” award from the Atlanta Junior Golf Association after winning every tournament she entered. At 14, she made her first hole-in-one and Qualified and Won First Place in LPGA U.S. Womens Open. At 17, Zakiya was the first female golf channel champion to win a men’s amateur golf tournament.

 

Now, after thrilling the nation for 11 years with her spectacular play, the golf sensation scores TOP Finalist on Golf ‘Big Break Atlantis’!

 

Zakiya is one of 12 women competing on Golf Channel’s reality television show “Big Break Atlantis.” Z’s debut on the show was May 14, 2012 at 9pm EST. Zakiya tops leaderboard in her first competition; the popular pressure packed Glass Break Challenge. She is one of eleven women to move on to the next show, which airs Monday, May 21, 2012 at 9pm EST.

 

“I am so excited to be a top finalist on the Golf Channel Big Break Atlantis! All the golfers are fantastic players. My next goal is to receive sponsors exemptions to play on the LPGA Tour” says ‘Z’.

 

The show features Zakiya and the other women in the Atlantis, Bahamas facing the toughest golf competition of their lives. Their golf skills are put to the test as they fight for a chance to make their lifelong dream against the dramatic backdrop of the Atlantis, Paradise Island Resort. With her golf style, golf game and signature ‘Z’ Wear, the Nation’s Capital star ‘Sizzles’.

 

‘Z’ beat out thousands of aspiring golfers to Land Top Finalist on the 17th edition of ‘Big Break’, which is considered the ‘American Idol’ of golf.

 

With just one episode of the reality tv show under her belt ‘Z’ has all ready become a Golf Fan Favorite.
