BWSF Power Up Triathlon Grant Winners Complete Women’s Philadelphia Duathlon 2021

ABOVE PHOTO: Local Inaugural BWSF Power Up Triathlon Grant Awardees Rudesia Sutton, Jenice Armstrong, and Lisa Suarez completed The 4th Annual Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Women’s Philadelphia Duathlon Presented by Inspira Health.   The Black Women in Sport Foundation, Coeur Sports, and USA Triathlon sponsored  the trio whose collective goals are to positively impact, empower and encourage women and others to get active. The grants were designed to remove barriers to participation. The goal of this program is to support development of underrepresented athletes in the sport of triathlon.

BWSF Power Up Triathlon Grant Awardee and Duathlete Jenice Armstrong is up for the challenge! Armstrong finished top 10 overall in her division.
