This prom season through partnership with PNK Elephant owners Blair Sandlain and Kijafa Frink we were able to award 10 deserving girls with prom dresses, and one girl an Ultimate Prom Package. The winners were selected based on their high GPAs and financial need.

Carla Agbiro, a senior at Central High School, was selected for the Ultimate Prom Package based on her hard work and dedication. Carla struggled with the curriculum at Central during her freshman and sophomore years, but was able to pull her GPA up to a 3.1 during her senior year. “Prom is not just a celebration of the end of high school for me; it is a celebration of my accomplishment”, says Carla.

She received hair and makeup by Couture Hair Studio, a dress and accessories from PNK Elephant, and a luxury car rental to take her to prom from Premier Luxury Rentals.

The PNK Dress Foundation, a non-profit organization started by Sandlain and Frink, collected new and gently used gowns. The ladies started the organization to help ensure that no girl missed out on prom.

“We decided to give back because every girl deserves to experience this milestone event in a special way, regardless of their parents’ income level”, says Blair, “and it is our hope that we can help girls who might not be able to afford a dress every year.”

The complete list of our Prom Giveaway Winners will be posted here.
