Shot in Philadelphia with all Philadelphia actors and crew, the new crime drama, ‘Revelation Blue’ premieres in January 2012 on PhillyCam, Philadelphia’s public access station on Comcast 66/966 and Verizon FIOS 29/30.
Directed and produced by Philly natives Tony and Nanette Lankford, ‘Revelation Blue’ is set in the style of ‘Law & Order’ and ‘CSI’ only with a faith based angle.
Director Tony Lankford says, “…’Revelation Blue’ raises the bar for faith based movies and TV shows by allowing the same energy, creativity, style and talent of secular entertainment to deliver a solid, positive God-centered message in a police drama frame. There is nothing else like it.”
Revelation Blue’s character, ex-preacher Devon Blue, played by actor Nicolas Torres, turned Philadelphia homicide detective investigates the evils of man.
Blue is a man who has left the ministry to focus on using his faith in God and spiritual approach to life to help the police department.
Often troubled by conflicting feelings on leaving the ministry and entering the hard edged life of being a homicide detective, Blue faces the conflicts of following and enforcing the laws of man and being judged by the law of God.
While being a father figure and mentor to his young teenaged friend Annie Stevens, detective Devon Blue investigates the murder of an innocent homeless man and a prosperity evangelist, who hold the secrets and revelations to recent crimes.
Join Devon Blue as he chooses his life path…for the time is near.
