Nourishment for the Soul: Your actions speak louder

There are people will promise you the world, and deliver nothing. Your actions speak volumes to your real intent. If someone “says” they love you, they wouldn’t disrespect you, curse you, cheat, or lie to you. If a person “says” they are trustworthy they wouldn’t create situations of distrust. If a person says they believe in you they will support you and your dreams, if a person says they “got you” they will support in times of triumph and tragedy. If a man says he’s a good man, he will treat you like a respected woman. If he says he’s a good father it will show when he’s with his children. If a woman says she’s a good sista she will respect and honor her man. Your actions speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you’re saying. Keep in mind that whatever it is you may be going through know that “it’s all in divine order.”

Sometimes, just do nothing

Life can sometimes be confusing and we think there should always be an answer. We want it right here and now. Your answer does not and/or will not always be immediate. We have to allow ourselves to grow through the lessons life has for us based on the situation and circumstances before us at any given time. God has a way of working things out without our help. You’ve heard the term before “Give it to God” well we find ourselves faced with difficult situations or decisions to make, we kneel and pray asking God for direction, understanding, and patience in the mist of our turmoil or confusion, only to get up and start meddling in it all over again without trusting in your prayer or standing on your faith that he hears your prayer. Sometimes it’s good to just do nothing. Think about it this way, if you are going to pray about it don’t worry, if you’re going to worry about it then don’t pray. Every situation does not require your attention. Sometimes, you should just do nothing stand on your faith and prayer and watch God work. Just keep in mind that whatever it is “It’s all in divine order”.
