We prioritize the strongest things in our lives, and put them first. This year make yourself a priority.
When our cars need servicing we take it in for at tune-up because it’s our pride and joy, but will not schedule our yearly mammogram, or a prostate exam.
If we own a pet, we’re up at 6:00 o’clock in the morning to taking the dog for a walk, but we will not add exercise to our daily routine.
We’re up early for work, meetings throughout the week, baseball games with the kids, the PTA, grocery shopping, and time with our friends. If you made a list with two columns; one with what you’ve done and accomplished for the week and the other listing what you’ve done for yourself, I’m pretty sure the latter will fall short.
Discover why that list is so much shorter. Often women feel very guilty about doing things for themselves, spending money on themselves that could’ve been used for other purposes, bills, kids, extracurricular activities that benefit the family or children.
