I was reading something I wrote more than four years ago and God placed it on my heart to share it here today, just as I wrote it then.
Out of obedience to Him, I’m posting it below with full confidence that it will be just what somebody needs. Read it below, and be blessed:
I received an exciting bit of news last evening that left my heart leaping for joy. During last week’s Harvest 2012 Revival in Buffalo, NY, God used me to speak prophetic words into the lives of some attendees. This does not happen all the time, but when I do hear God this way, I hear Him clearly and He speaks through me precisely.
When I was listening to the praise report, my memory had to be jolted a bit about what was said.
I didn’t fully recall at first.
For some reason, after God gives me a word for someone, the details become sketchy once that specific moment has passed. It feels somewhat like the Lord erases part of my memory to ensure that I am only a conduit through which the prophetic word flows, not a storage receptacle.
So anyway, I learned that what the Lord spoke to the woman I felt led to minister to, manifested the very next day. Her family members, who intimately know the details of this person’s life that I don’t know, said she wondered if anyone else could have possibly told me all she had been going through.
But flesh and blood did not reveal that information to me.
God did.
Although I didn’t know what was going on, the Omniscient One opened her life to me and spoke to deep, personal issues she was facing. Not only that, but God turned around and fulfilled the promises made to her the following day to leave no room for doubt that she had heard God’s voice.
God is a promise-keeper Daily Cup family and don’t you ever forget it.
If He said it, He’s going to bring it to pass.
I know it might not happen the very next day as it did in this woman’s situation, but as I said yesterday, when God’s says it’s time, manifestation will come.
To remind you to keep trusting that God, the Promise-Keeper, will bring His word to pass in your life, I’m stirring Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV into your cup of inspiration today. It says, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
When you drink down the contents of your cup, you’ll be reminded that God cannot lie. If He said it, He will do it. You will be inspired to hope and believe that, no matter what you’re facing, as Hebrews 10:23 assures us, God can be trusted to keep His promises.
Your manifestation is coming.
I want you to grab this word you’re reading right now as your prophetic word that piggybacks on what the Lord said yesterday.
Don’t take it lightly.
When your set time comes, everything God has promised will be fulfilled in your life. So don’t be discouraged. He has not forgotten you.
Feast on the word found in 2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV that says, “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
Now let’s pray together.
Cup-of-Prayer
“Father, I thank You for encouraging me through this word today that You are a God who keeps Your promises. Right now, I cling to Isaiah 40:8 which tells me, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.” I stand on Your word today, oh God, for You cannot lie. If You said it, I know I will see it. Thank You in advance for what’s already done. I know beyond a shadow of doubt that Your will and purpose will be accomplished in and through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
As always, thanks for reading and until next time… may today’s cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
