Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church of Philadelphia will celebrate its’ 6th Annual Resurrection Sunday Service at the Liacouras Center, Broad Street and Montgomery Avenue, on April 4, 2010.
Once again focusing on the community, Senior Pastor Reverend Dr. Alyn E. Waller of ETBC has identified several organizations for our Mission Focus for Resurrection Sunday 2010:
Father’s Day Rally Committee Inc. (established in 1989), a non-profit of concerned men on a mission to reduce violence in the minority community in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley.
Wordsworth (started in 1952), a non-profit that provides quality education and treatment to children and families with special needs and operating community based campuses throughout the Philadelphia region.
Dr Michael and Kay Johnson (through world Gospel Mission) who are currently serving on the mission field in Nairobi. Both are doctors who gave up their surgical practice in 1984 and moved, along with their four children to Nairobi, Kenya where they provide healthcare to some of the city’s 100,000 street children and orphans.
Finally, catch the Enon express to the Liacouras Center at Fern Rock and make it a “Car-Free” day. The train leaves at 8:25 AM. The Service starts at 9:30 AM!
