This year’s annual “Back to School PEP Rally” will be combined with “Carnival for a Cure.” Both will take place at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church on August 17 at 2800 W. Cheltenham Avenue from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
The Carnival for a Cure offers medical screenings for children and adult HIV screenings and education.
The annual Back to School Pep Rally will prepare our youth to return to school with an Enon back-pack, complete with school supplies donated by members of Enon.
In addition, there will be rides, free children’s haircuts, a photo booth, face painting and great times for all.
To date, Enon has distributed approximately 20,000 book bags in 14 years to school-aged children from kindergarten thru 12th grade in the Philadelphia community.
Parents need only register their children at 8:30am that morning to receive a bag.
All children grades K-12 are invited to attend and membership at Enon is not a requirement.
