People believe that the type of car that they drive defines who they are, that where they live determines what others think of them. And being a member of the right church or social organization makes them a better person.
All of those things matter, but what matters most is who you really are…
Are you a person of your word? When you speak does it matter?
Are you a person with integrity? Do you have boundaries on what you would and wouldn’t do?
Are you dependable? Do you do what you say you will do?
Are you a person who loves family, but doesn’t know your children?
Are you a person of wisdom that people seek you out for advice?
Are you a person of compassion, that people look to for comfort?
Are you a person of love and admiration, that people want to emulate?
