How to Help: 

Saturdays: Help make the Food Cupboard a success by volunteering on Saturday mornings from 7:40 am – 10:15 am. Volunteers distribute food, register guests at the main desk, talk to guests as they wait in line, and more.Ride with the Mobile Food Cupboard from 10 am to 1 pm and distribute food to Philly’s most under-served neighborhoods.

Thursdays: Help process shipments of food for the cupboard on Thursdays at 5 pm.

Urban Affairs Coalition Thanksgiving Baskets Program

How to Help: Fill Thanksgiving baskets for Philly families (Volunteers must be over 14 years of age) at Brown’s Family Shoprite, 24th and Oregon on Saturday, November 23 from 8:30 am to 12 pm. Distribute Thanksgiving baskets (must be able to lift 25 lbs) from Brown’s Family Shoprite, 2946 Island Ave. on Monday, November 25 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Lunch will be provided.
