This week marks the end of an era at Action News.
Reporter Vernon Odom will sign off for the last time on Friday and start a much-deserved retirement.
Odom’s colleagues lined up for some hugs and handshakes during a “Thank You” breakfast in the newsroom Wednesday morning.
Odom’s name has been synonymous with Action News for more than 42 years. His story-telling and friendship will be missed around the newsroom.
