Sheriff Jewell Williams was honored Sunday, Sept. 30. by the Philadelphia Association of Black Sports and Culture.
The group’s 12th Recognition Banquet, which honored Delaware Valley Legends was held at the Oaks Ballroom in Glenolden, PA.
“I am grateful to be recognized by Bill Baggett and everyone at the Philadelphia Association of Black Sports and Culture,” said Sheriff Williams. “I was proud to be honored alongside such other prominent members of our community and celebrate with them at a wonderful event,” Williams said.
Other honorees included Philadelphia City Councilman Kenyatta Johnson, Common Pleas Court Judge The Hon. Jonathan Q. Irvine, Rev. Dr. William J. King and Edward Williams.
