The initiative seeks to raise $30,000 by April 3rd to help Saint John’s Hospice provide additional support, resources, and expanded services to homeless men

Saint John’s Hospice (SJH), a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (CSS), is seeking community support to help provide expanded services and critical support to men experiencing homelessness who are impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

SJH, part of the Housing and Homeless Services Division of CSS, provides crucial, life-sustaining services with dignity, respect and compassion to homeless men in Philadelphia. Wednesday, March 25th marked SJH’s biggest increase with nearly 123 individuals in need turning to SJH for dinner.

Those interested in supporting SJH can make a one-time gift or recurring financial contribution through a dedicated link by visiting Checks can also be mailed directly to SJH at P.O. Box 781048, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1048. SJH’s Development Council and Friends of Saint John’s Hospice have pledged to match the first $15,000 raised.
