Power 99, Philadelphia’s heritage home for Hip-Hop and R&B, today announced its morning show, The Rise and Grind Morning Show, will raise awareness for the new PA Voter ID Law with five live broadcasts at various Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) locations across Philadelphia. The Rise and Grind Morning Show broadcasts weekday mornings from 6-10:00 a.m.

Power 99 broadcasts will take place at DMV’s throughout Philadelphia, where citizens can obtain a valid voter ID if they don’t have a driver’s license or other approved photo identification. Since the PA Voter ID legislation was signed into law there has been widespread concern that citizens are not getting the message about the steps they must take if they don’t have an approved form of identification. The broadcasts are designed to provide listeners with all the information they need on the PA Voter ID law and encourage them to obtain a voter ID at the DMV.

The Rise and Grind Morning Show is teaming up with City Commissioner Stephanie Singer and the PA Voter ID Coalition for the PA Voter ID broadcasts.

Listeners who stop by the live broadcasts can enter to win a pair of tickets to all three Powerhouse30 Shows. For more information about Rise and Grind Morning Show voter ID broadcasts visit http://www.power99.com/common/election/.
