Philadelphia Black Public Relations Society tackles epidemic of economic disparity with workshop “Wealth Building for Freelancers, Individuals and the Self-employed” presented by CPA Anita T. Conner.
On Wednesday April 25, 2018, The Philadelphia Black Public Relations Society presents critically acclaimed CPA Anita Conner from Anita T. Conner & Associates for the workshop Wealth Building for Freelancers, Individuals and the Self-employed. Critical information will be shared about the new tax law, financial management and wealth building. Anita’s sessions are spirited and very interactive. The workshop will take place 7 p.m. at Independence Blue Cross and is open to the community. RSVP is mandatory to attend.
Anita T. Conner & Associates, P.C was awarded Best Tax Service in Philadelphia, by the US Commerce Association, and Top Wealth Manager in Philadelphia-as seen in Philadelphia Magazine. She has also received over 60 awards and citations, including the Best Tax Service in Philadelphia, by the US Commerce Association.
“It’s important to share information needed to build wealth especially since there is a growing market of freelancers, small business owners and those who are employed but are severely underpaid,” says Monica Peters who is President of the Philadelphia Black Public Relations Society.
“Many freelancers or self-employed persons do not have a retirement plan, 401K or even disability and loss of income insurance. Additionally, what happens if they were unable to work for a short period of time due to illness or unforeseen circumstances? What disability or loss of income insurance is available to freelancers or small business owners?” continued Peters.
Anita will discuss:
-The new tax law and how it impacts individuals, entrepreneurs and small business owners
-Managing and growing your business
-Owning a business in PA
-Disability/loss of income insurance
Anita’s philosophy about business is simple; “If I help others grow…I will grow.” That work ethic, along with hard work helped the firm to grow to what it is today.”
Refreshments will be served and parking accommodations will be shared with registrants in advance of event. RSVP at Philablackprsocietybuildwealth.eventbrite.com
