Dr. King’s vision of America is captured in his messages of hope and possibility for a future anchored in dignity, sensitivity, and mutual respect; a message that challenges each of us to recognize that America’s true strength lies in its diversity of talents.

The mission of West Mt. Airy Neighbors (WMAN) is to serve as a community-based volunteer organization committed to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in our richly diverse urban neighborhood.

With these mutual ideals in mind, WMAN will lead a pilgrimage to this memorial which commemorates the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This memorial honors his national and international contributions to world peace through non-violent social change.

The bus will leave Mt. Airy at 9 AM and return at 7 PM on Sunday, November 20th. Tickets are $25 for WMAN members and $30 for non-members. Pack a lunch, bring the family, and enjoy the inspiration and fellowship of neighbors.

For more information on this trip, and to register, please visit www.wman.net or call (215) 438-6022.
