Friends of SOMAFCO Celebrates Kwanzaa, Anniversary of the African National Congress

The Friends of SOMAFCO (Solomon Mahlangu Freedom College) will be holding its annual Kwanzaa ceremony and a celebration honoring the 104th Anniversary of the African National Congress on Saturday, Jan. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 74th Ave. and Briar Road.

In addition to a celebration of the Ngozo Saba, there will also be crafts, facts about the ANC and food. Tickets are free for children under 12 and $20 for adults and children 12 and over. For more information, call 215-848-1806 or 215-635-4043.
