DORNEY PARK, Allentown, PA–The largest seasonal employer in the Lehigh Valley is now hiring! Coming off the heels of two consecutive years of job growth, Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom will hire more employees in 2018 than in previous years.  Job seekers and returning associates are invited to attend a Hiring Party on Saturday, January 13th from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM in the Good Time Theater.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is pleased to offer competitive pay that exceeds the minimum wage in Pennsylvania.  New employees ages 16 and older can earn from $8.50 – $11.00 per hour (plus bonus opportunities) in their first year!  Applications are now being accepted (ages 16 & up) for more than 3,000 positions in the following departments: Food & Beverage, Rides, Lifeguards, Merchandise, Games, Admissions, Safety, Security and many more!

Interested candidates, returning employees and their friends are invited to attend the Hiring Party.  “For our returning associates, come see all your co-workers and friends, and learn what’s new for 2018.  For new applicants, come learn what makes Dorney Park such a FUN place to work,” said Michael Fehnel, Vice President and General Manager of Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom.  Attendees will be entered into a raffle to win awesome prizes such as a PlayStation 4, TV, iPad, Apple Watch and hundreds of dollars in gift cards!  Additionally, we’ll have an exclusive movie screening of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” immediately after the job fair for anyone in attendance.

Applicants are encouraged to bring friends with them to the Hiring Party – both you and your friend can earn extra cash for every friend who is newly hired at Dorney Park.  Applicants should view job openings and apply online at www.dorneypark.com/jobs prior to the party. Attendees should enter the main parking lot using the entrance under the billboard off of Hamilton Boulevard and follow directional signage to Good Time Theater.  If you are unable to attend the Hiring Party but interested in employment you are still able to apply online.

Aside from its competitive wages, Dorney Park offers flexible work schedules, free admission to all Cedar Fair Parks and many other amusement and entertainment attractions, scholarships, and hosts many exclusive associate events throughout the season.

Dorney Park will open its gates on Friday, May 4th for its 135th operating season! Additional hiring events will occur prior to the park opening.  Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for the latest news and information about Dorney Park and seasonal employment opportunities.
