Bank of American is hosting a Homeowners Assistance Forum– Monday, October 8 through Wednesday, October 10; Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, 1201 Market Street; 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day.
The event will provide face-to-face assistance to Philadelphia -area homeowners who have a hardship that has made it difficult for them to pay their mortgage. Bank of America specialists and underwriters will be on-hand to review their financial situation and determine if they are eligible for a home retention or transition solution which will help avoid foreclosure.
We have reached out to more than 19,000 Bank of America customers within 75 miles, with the goal of assisting as many as possible. Since 2009, Bank of America has participated in 13 events in Pennsylvania and completed more than 20,000 loan modifications, with more than 1,500 modifications in July alone. Local non-profit partners will also be on-site to provide financial counseling.
This event is for Bank of America customers only. Customers can register for the event by going online to www.bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent or calling 1.855.201.7426 (toll-free). Appointments are available from 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM daily. Se habla español.
Over the course of their time at the event (at least 2-3 hours), customers will review their file and status with a Bank of America specialist, verify their income and residency and determine which options may be available for them. Customers are asked to bring documentation of their financial situation, so that decision can be reached regarding their mortgage. A list of the documents required can be found at www.bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent.
For customers unable to attend the event, we also have a Customer Assistance Center located in North Wales, PA (1265 Knapp Road, 1.215.692.1833) which provides similar face-to-face loan assistance. Please call the center to schedule an appointment. Complimentary parking will be available at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.
