Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell will join the local chapter of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realists (PMBR) at a Meet and Greet on Wednesday January 15, 5:30-8:30 PM at Conestoga Bank located at 1632 Walnut Street.
Realtist are members of The National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) which is the oldest African-American trade association in the country. NAREB has been in existence for 67 years and their mission is democracy in housing.
They promote sustainable homeownership for all Americans through educating, servicing and advocating for public policies concerning homebuyers.
In addition, Realtist seek to build economic prosperity in the community through Jobs and Housing, and they strive to close the information gap for first time home buyers by offering statistical and historic data that will assist in determining health disparity and its impact on the African American market segment.
