ACES MUSEUM presents The Black Experience during Black History Month on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10 AM -5 PM each day. ACES Museum is a unique site that houses two separate historical sites. Tours will take place each hour from 12 PM to 6 PM of the WWII ACES MUSEUM, and recently opened “Makin’ Da Nade” Slavery Museum, in lower level of facility.
This event also features various workshops and health screenings. The Tuskegee Airman George Lucas documentary “Double Victory,” will be shown 10 AM on Friday morning at the Pearl Theatre and 4PM at ACES MUSEUM. This experience is unique since WWII veterans of color and slaves had a presence here.

The Wissahickon Boys & Girls Club, located in Germantown, will start the 125th Anniversary of the Boys & Girls Club National existence. The Wissahickon Club is the nation’s 1st Club. Philadelphia Metro Boys & Girls Club chose to initiate it’s celebration with Wissahickon during Black History month.
Come out and join the Black Experience presented by ACES MUSEUM.
