Tongues are wagging that Beyonce and Jay-Z released a statement saying their little bundle of joy, Blue Ivy Carter, was born naturally, not by a C-Section, at a healthy seven pounds and it was “the best experience of our lives.” The couple adds: “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.”

Since we are chatting about the Carters, new dad Jay-Z was just named the new face and voice of the Duracell Powermat JV. As a well known trend-setter that helped redefine the music industry, Jay-Z is uniquely positioned to bring wireless power to the people. Says Jay-Z: “I believe in the future of wireless energy and I believe that Duracell Powermat is the company to bring on the revolution. I’m partnering with Duracell Powermat because they’re providing the solutions for the future.”

T.I. has confirmed that VH1 renewed his hit reality show, “T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle,” for a second season. He has said that the show is so important to him because it helps people get a better understanding of who he really is. T.I.’s highly anticipated album, “Troubleman,” is due out in March.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania may be the home of athletic stars, but with the emergence of key hip hop artists like Shad Black, the music game will never be the same. Artists who were once on the underground tip have found their niche in the grooving Pittsburgh music scene, and hip hop artist Shad Black is among those who is currently on music listeners’ radar. Says Shad: “I love music so much that I work on it day and night….I have currently recorded over 100 songs for my newest mix tape. I plan to narrow the material down to the best 25 songs.” Shad’s “The Black Market 3” will be out this year.

The wedding is back on for Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada. Last week, it was reported that ‘Basketball Wives” star Evelyn put the nuptials on hold after she suspected the feisty football player of cheating on her. However, Evelyn told TMZ: “The strain from both of our busy schedules started to take a serious toll on our relationship. Yet after spending some much needed quality time together, Chad and I are in a good space.”
