It looks like certain members of the Black male population of New York City have more allegiance to Jay Z than to boycotting
Barneys New York due to the recent shop and frisk incidents that happened with two young Black shoppers. Jay Z’s controversial SCCBNY collection
for Christmas is almost totally sold out at the high end Madison avenue department store. Items like the less expensive $695 cashmere ski mask,
$1,275 fleece hoodie and the $2,295 leather sleeve puffer varsity jacket that Beyonce’ wore are all gone. The sales clerk told a
source the main shoppers were Black males in the 18-40 age range. By the way, at press time there were only two pairs of $2,590 leather boxing

The 23rd NAACP Black Theatre Awards were recently announced in Los Angeles.Esosa garnered the 2013 Best Costume Award for “By The
Way…..Meet Vera Stark” production in New York and Atlanta. Esosa, who received a Tony nomination for “The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess” was also a
finalist on Project Runway season 7 and All Stars version season 2. He’s currently represented on Broadway as the Costume Designer for “Motown: The
Musical.” Upcoming projects include “Fences,” directed byPhylicia Rashad and the national tours of “The Gershwin’s Porgy and
was overcome with grief Sunday afternoon when he showed to the crash site where his “Fast and Furious” co-star Paul Walker died less than 24 hours
before. Tyrese paid tribute to Walker during a quick stop at the Santa Clarita crash spot…… the same place where fans have been leaving tons of
flowers and various tokens in honor of Walker. Tyrese took a piece of the crash wreckage home with him and posted a picture it online afterward.
