According to US Weekly, Beyonce was the second-to-last celebrity after Madonna to grace the red carpet at the Costume
Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6 in the Big Apple. Taking a break from her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, the Honorary Co-Chair for
the 2013 Ball – made a memorable entrance with a custom skirt by Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, a mile long skirt in black Cady printed with
flame motifs and embroidered with flame cutouts. Bey paired the skirt with matching thigh-high boots of the same fabric. Bey told the mag: “It’s all about
the boots.”
A private jet carrying Chris Brown was forced to make an emergency landing in Burbank, California on May 6. After the cockpit filled with
smoke after takeoff. Chris boarded a Gulfstream Three Jet in Burbank and was headed for Teterboro, New Jersey, so he could attend the Costume Institute
Gala. Sources tell TMZ that roughly seven to eight minutes into the flight, everyone on board began to notice smoke filling the plane. A source said: “It
was a lot of smoke…..everywhere!” The pilot immediately turned the plane around and performed an emergency landing back at Burbank Airport. After the plane
touched down, Chris decided he still wanted to attend the gala in New York, and, boarded another private plane. He eventually made it to the Big Apple.
But, not in time for the gala. However, he did make it to the after party.

and the pressures young people are confronted with. Regionally in his hometown of Atlanta, TreVante has teamed his efforts with Empowering Success Today,
Inc., a non-profit organization encouraging teens to “SHOUT OUT” against teen dating violence. The music sensation will premiere his interactive speaking
tour “Face The Pressure & Kill The Violence” in Atlanta, followed by New York, New Jersey, CT and Philadelphia. TreVante’s latest single is “Bad Girl,”
featuring Lil Twist.
“Pain and Gain” stars Dwayne “Rock” Johnson and Mark Wahlberg will star in a new HBO dramedy pilot. The untitled show
will follow retired athlete living in Miami and is scheduled to begin shooting this fall.
