According to the Chicago Sun Times, even given her intense traveling schedule of being in Barbados one day and on the Spanish Riviera the next, sources say Rihanna did meet with Chris Brown in a Burbank, California restaurant on July 14….a place not even the sharpest paparazzi would think of….both Rihanna and Chris changed cars twice, in enclosed parking garages, just to throw the paparazzi off so they couldn’t follow them. According to the source, Rihanna “is still trying to figure out a way to go public with Chris, but in a way people will be cool with.”

Nick Cannon arrived at the launch event of American Gentleman Magazine presented by Hennessy V.S. in Los Angeles on July 15. Nick has been extremely busy filming his directorial debut, School Dance, which just wrapped in L.A., as well as “America’s Got Talent” in Newark, New Jersey. He was overheard telling fans that his health had indeed been in jeopardy, but he was now “doing much better.” When a photographer asked him if wife Mariah Carey was indeed in talks to be a judge on “American Idol,” Nick quipped: “I don’t know if she is in talks, she talks to a lot of people. I’m not her manager, I’m her husband.”

Afro-French Bombshell beauty queen turned actress/singer Kande Amadou is on a roll these days. She recently wrapped a starring role in a television commercial, and, now is hard at work promoting her upcoming CD. She recently was a smash hit at Shelley Brooks’ Saturday night new artist showcase at Iguana in midtown Manhattan. Also a veteran jazz dancer, Kande’s name is soon to be on the tip of everyone’s tongues.

Frank Ocean hit Vancouver, Canada on July 14. The 24-year-old singer, who recently came out, was in town to perform at the Commodore Ballroom as part of his Channel Orange Tour. Frank’s debut album Channel Orange is set to debut at number two on the Billboard 200 chart with about 130,000 digital copies sold.

Wedding bells will soon be ringing for actress Edwina Findley, known to many as Davina Lambeaux in HBO’s Treme and Kelvin Dickerson, a former U.S. Soldier and a rising Ad Executive responsible for landing major accounts for his New York based firm. While appearing on “Treme” last season, Edwina simultaneously had a reoccurring role as Jill on ABC’s hit series “Brothers and Sisters,” and recently completed filming Ava DuVernay’s upcoming movie, Middle of Nowhere, winner at Sundance 2012 and due in theatres this October.
