Isaac Wright Jr, who was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to life in a New Jersey prison before being exonerated after spending seven years behind bars, is now the subject of an upcoming TV series produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. In an astonishing turn of events, Wright was sworn in as a licensed attorney and granted admission to the bar of the New Jersey Supreme Court on September 27, 2017. Wright hopped up on 50’s radar after the BX Fight Club in Bronx, New York, approached him to find a way for them to become legal so that they could get 50 Cent to attend the fights. Says Wright: “The guy running the fight club came to me and said: “If we can get 50 to come to the fights, it will really blow us up. But he has a promoter’s license and he won’t come because we’re illegal. Can you help us get legal?” While incarcerated, Wright perfected the art of writing motions as he studied the law. He looked into the way the policemen and firemen were able to put on fight cards and found the loophole he needed, partnering with a school. As soon as the fight club was legal, 50 Cent attended a fight. He asked the guys: “How did you make this happen?,” and they told him Isaac’s story. Wright is currently Of Counsel with the law firm Hunt, Hamlin & Ridley located in Newark, New Jersey…………
