Nick Cannon teamed up with Toys “R” Us to deliver toys to children at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children in Queens, NY

Grammy award winning R&B/Pop singer/songwriter Howard Hewett rings in the holidays with his R&B, jazz infused album, “Howard Hewett Christmas,” featuring the single, “That’s Christmas.” Produced by Hewett, the late George Duke, Ralph Johnson and Monty Seward, Howard Hewett Christmas will take you down Christmas memory lane and bring you back to the present with his spin on holiday classics like the Donny Hathaway penned music staple “This Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” and “Silent Night.” Says Hewett, “Christmas has always been a magical time for the people, and they need that magical special time, especially now, in the middle of what we’re going through with the Covid-19 times we’re living in…and this music will bring the magical.”…….

Nick Cannon teamed up with Toys “R” Us to deliver toys to children at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children in Queens, New York on December 14, putting aside grief over the death of his five-month-old son, Zen, with model Alyssa Scott, on December 5 following a battle with brain cancer. The courageous talk show host/actor was also spotted having dinner at Melba’s in Harlem on December 15. Cannon took time at the soul food restaurant to pose for photos with his friend, actress/comedienne Sherri Shepherd, who was in the Big Apple to guest host “The Wendy Williams Show” Shepherd has had a crazy week. Upon her arrival in NYC on December 12, she felt pains in her stomach and had to get an emergency appendectomy at Bellevue Hospital. A true trooper, she was back in Wendy’s chair on December 14………. 

Brittney Johnson will take over the role of Glinda in the Broadway blockbuster “WICKED,” beginning with performances on February 14, 2022 at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre. Currently the Glinda standby, Johnson will be the first Black actress to assume the role. Johnson has appeared on Broadway in “Les Miserables” (Eponine), “Motown,” “Sunset Boulevard,” “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical,” and “Kristin Chenoweth: For the Girls”……

According to ET, Tina Knowles Lawson didn’t have to look far when seeking out a theme song for her new Facebook Watch series, “Talks With Mama Tina.” The mom of Beyonce’ and Solange Knowles recruited her grandchildren for the special tune. Tina previewed the series and the song on Instagram December 21, posting a preview clip which included guests Kevin Hart, Zendaya, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, and Tiffany Haddish. Tina is excited to have “honest heartfelt conversations” and to share her “famous gumbo with the stars and some of their moms……..
