We all know that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins were born on their wedding anniversary. To further celebrate the joyous occasion, the couple had Rev. Al Sharpton renew their wedding vows in the hospital. The proud papa tweeted: “Thank you to Rev. Al who came all the way to the hospital to renew me and my wife’s vows and to pray with our children.” The 41 year-old singer gave birth to a healthy boy and girl via C-section.
The Reginald F. Lewis Foundation will honor Eugene A. Profit, CEO of Profit Investment Management at the fourth annual Gala Luncheon on Saturday, June 25 at the Lewis Estate in East Hampton. Harvard Law School Bussey Professor Emeritus Frank E.A. Sander will receive the Millenium Member Award recognizing the key role he played in Lewis’s career. The event will feature the musical stylings of celebrity spinner DJ M.O.S. For the third consecutive year, New York City CBS 2 News Anchor Maurice DuBois will emcee the benefit. Each year, the Foundation bestows the Reginald F. Lewis Award to an African-American entrepreneur who achieved international business success before the age of 50, as Lewis did. Lewis led the largest leveraged buyout of the ‘1980s to become the first African-American to build a billion-dollar company.
Cash Money’s Brian “Baby” Williams dropped nearly $8 million dollars on a Mercedes Maybach Exelero. He is reportedly worth $100 million dollars. The German car is outfitted with a V12 twin turbo engine, a top speed of 218 MPH, and a high-class futuristic design.
Grammy-nominated singer Freddie Jackson will join America’s foremost creators presenting their work to the members of Congress and the cultural community celebrating the ASCAP Collection at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, May 10.
