Kevin Hart reportedly married Eniko Parrish on Monday, August 8 after a two-year engagement. The box office star proposed to Eniko on her 30th birthday back in August 2014. Both members of the couple celebrating the upcoming nuptials with friends earlier this summer. Eniko had her bridal shower back in June, and Kevin had a birthday/bachelors weekend with a posse of his buddies in Las Vegas. Congratulations to the happy couple!…………
The upcoming Focus Features film. Kubo And The Two Strings, which opens August 19, had a power-packed weekend, impacting both Los Angeles and Atlanta! Reality stars Sheree Fletcher and Claudia Jordan will host the 23rd Little Miss African American Pageant on August 14 at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Los Angeles. “Grey”s Anatomy” actor James Pickens Jr. will make a special appearance. This year’s Celebrity Judges include actress Ella Joyce, comedienne Debra Wilson, Olympic Gold Medalist Althea Moses, Miss USA 2002 Shauntay Hilton and author/professor Ron Brewington. Little Miss African American Pageant creator actress Lisa Ruffin said, “Within each girl, is the promise of unlimited possibilities, and the pageant is a vehicle for bringing that potential to the forefront.” …………
VH1 has ordered a new unscripted series starring Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg with the working title “Martha and Snoop’s Dinner Party,” according to “Variety”. The series will feature the lifestyle maven and the rapper teaming up each week to host a dinner party with celebrity guests. It is set to premiere this fall on VH1. Said Snoop: “My home girl Martha and I have a special bond that goes back. We’re gonna be working, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together.” Stewart has a history of friendships with rappers. She used to pal around with Sean “Puffy” Combs and also used to roll with Busta Rhymes………..
Chris Rock had a nice vacation with his kids. On August 4, the actor hit Madison Square Garden for Drake and Future’s concert where he ran into newlywed Misty Copeland, who was there with some girlfriends. One August 7, Rock posted on Facebook that he took the kids out to the Hamptons, where they crashed a private event because they heard Tony-winning former “Hamilton” star Leslie Odom Jr. was performing, and were shocked to also see Nelly and Taylor Swift performing onstage together! ……
