First Mo’Nique said Lee Daniels originally offered her the role of Cookie on “Empire,” then reneged claiming the executives at Fox said she is hard to work with. Now Damon Dash says that Lee was also supposed to put him on “Empire” because the director/producer never repaid him the $2 million he put up for a film project. Dame told MTV that after “Precious,” Lee went “missing.” So once Damon couldn’t get on “Empire,” he sued Lee for $25 million because of the interest that accrued over ten years. Meanwhile, Damon is on the promotional trail for his new movie/web series “Loisaides,” executive produced by Kanye West. Dame says he just needs Kanye to do for him what he did for Kanye back in the day…………

During the New York junket for “Chappie,” the Aussie heartthrob sat down with BET.com where he revealed his rap alter ego saying, “After the Tony Awards, T.I. started calling me Biggie Taps….I’ll take it.” While we may not to be able to download a mix tape from Hugh Jackman just yet, you can catch him on the big screen starting March 6 when “Chappie” hits theaters………..

While his on/off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran is currently off, tweeting out she will not get involved in any baby drama, sources say Chris calls his baby mama, Nia, a video vixen who has been photographed with Karrueche in the past, on a regular basis. Reportedly, Chris says he want to openly participate in raising little Royalty, Nia and Royalty reside in Texas, and Chris says he’ll gladly fly to the Lone Star state regularly to be a part of his daughter’s life…………
On Tuesday, February 24, City Councilman Robert E. Cornegy and BRIC TV Producer Fred Brown were hosts for the 2015, Brooklyn’s Best Honors. Sponsored by the Brooklyn Borough President’s office, Our Time Press and Urban ID Media, the festive affair took place at Amarachi Prime in Brooklyn, New York. The event included a live performance from singer/songwriter Darryl Copeland while raising over $600 for Safe Horizon’s Jane Barker Brooklyn Child Advocacy Center.
