Rest in peace, Cicely Tyson. According to reports, mere hours after Tyson’s death, the multi-award winning actress’ just-published memoir became the bestselling book in America. Released on January 26, “Just As I Am” has hit number one on Amazon. However, it looks like it will be very difficult to obtain. Published by HarperCollins, the 432- page autobiography has become so desirable since Tyson’s sudden death on January 28 at the age of 96, that it is temporarily out of stock, according to Amazon, and there is no word on when they will get additional copies…
Quarantine baby alert! Tongues are wagging that Kelly Rowland has a new bundle of joy. The songstress/actress welcomed her second child with husband Tim Weatherspoon, son Noah Jon, on January 21 at 8:13 PM. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. The former member of Destiny’s Child posted on social media, “We are truly grateful.” Rowland reportedly revealed a few months ago that during the pandemic, there wasn’t much to do in the house, so she and Weatherspoon decided they would try for a baby, because they had no idea how long the pandemic was going to last…

A pop-up food pantry on Staten Island in New York City was a star-studded event on Saturday, January 30. Comedian Tracy Morgan and Staten Island native Method Man stopped by to help hand out food at the Hubert H. Humphrey Elementary School. Sources say around 500 families received fresh produce, canned goods and meals. Said a spokesperson for the Food Bank For New York City, “We are so grateful to have the support of Tracy Morgan, who led the charge to make our distribution in Staten Island at P.S. 57 today possible.”…
