Fashion, beauty and style icon Iman is spreading holiday cheer this season to women in need. We hear that the make-up mogul with a signature line of cosmetics that bears her name is donating gorgeous make-up palettes to the Greater New York Chapter of The Links as part of the organization’s annual Christmas party to benefit victims of domestic violence. The event, now in its 10th year, is in partnership with the Urban Women’s Retreat – one of New York’s oldest and largest service providers for women and children in need. The Greater New York Chapter of The Links is commemorating 70 years of service to the area and is comprised of some of the City’s most dynamic and influential women of color……..
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis spreads good cheer this holiday season as the world renowned jazz orchestra and guest vocalists Vuyo Sotashe and Veronica Swift perform “Big Band Holidays” throughout the U.S. The 14-city U.S. tour takes the band through Texas, and the Southeast then concludes with a 5-date homecoming engagement at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Theater in New York City on December 19-23.
