Nissan Diversity took the opening night of New York Fashion Week by storm as the automotive giant was the main sponsor for Harlem Fashion Row’s Style Awards at La Marina in the Washington Heights Section of Manhattan. The elegant evening included dinner, the awards show in which acclaimed director Spike Lee and Fashion Bomb Daily Publisher Claire Summers were honored. The awards were ended with a moving speech by Brandice Daniel, followed by a fabulous fashion show and cocktails. Darla Turner, Nissan Manager Corporate Communications and Jocelyn K. Allen, founder of the Allen Lewis Agency (TALA) flew in for the festivities which were also attended by Fashion icons Audrey Smaltz and Micki Garth Taylor, producer Sidra Smith, Geneva Thomas, Danielle Belton and theYBF Founder Natasha Eubanks.……..
