Following her mother’s death, Bobbi Kristina, was rushed to the hospital twice over the weekend, but now Whitney Houston’s only daughter is back on the mend with loved ones, according to dad Bobby Brown. “My daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in L.A.,” Bobby said in a statement. “She has been released and is presently with my family, including her siblings.” He continues: “Obviously, the death of her mother is affecting her. However, we will get through this tragedy as a family.”
According to the Chicago Sun Times, friends of Halle Berry, say the Oscar winner – while happy with her as-yet-to-be-confirmed fiance Olivier Martinez- feels that many other elements in her life are one big headache. “Halle is constantly worrying about all the things-going on with Gabriel Aubry, a pal said. ‘She really hopes that this latest decision will finally lead to him having very minimal contact with their daughter Nahla.” That “latest decision” refers to Aubry being ordered into Dependency Court following an investigation of the male model by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. The judge agreed for the time being, Aubry will not be allowed time alone with his daughter during visitation.
Never too late for shades? As Nicki Minaj’s stylist kept frantically calling her for a fitting scheduled back at their hotel, the mellow raptress couldn’t resist the trays of sunglasses that were presented to her by Solstice Sunglass Boutique and Safilo Group in the parking lot of the Staples Center after her rehearsal for the Grammy Awards. Sitting pretty in the drivers seat of her pink Bentley, the singer used the visor mirror for reflection and to make her selection, and finally chose a pair of hot pink Kate Spade cat eye sunglasses that match her car exactly. She satisfied her sunglass fix by also throwing in a pair of white Carrera shields and Alexander McQueen coral aviators.
Tyler Perry says he’s ready to tie the knot. On the cover of the March issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine, the director says that marriage is definitely in the cards for him these days. The “Good Deeds” producer, director and star tells the mag: “I will be married and probably have kids before anybody knows it.” While he won’t tell us who the lucky lady is, the rumor mill says he’s engaged to Gelia Bekele.
