Not only is it completely untrue that O.J. Simpson got beaten up in a bloody prison fight recently, it is such a tall tale that when the Juice heard the ridiculous story, sources say he couldn’t stop laughing. Sources at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada told TMZ, reports of Simpson being beaten to a “bloody pulp” during a prison yard fight were so ridiculous that guards pulled O.J. from his cell just to tell him about the crazy rumors. An official representative for the prison told TMZ there have been “no incidents regarding O.J. in any shape or form.”
While Halle Berry got basically everything she wanted in Gabriel Aubry’s custody lawsuit against her, including being able to take her daughter Nahla to New York City so she can join the cast of “New Year’s Eve” in a different role than she was originally cast in, the Chicago Sun Times is reporting “it definitely cost Halle, but after a while, she was willing to pay whatever it cost to make a deal with Gabriel.” No word on what the male model was paid, but a source told the Chicago Sun Times: “What’s important is that Halle now totally controls her daughter’s destiny.”
Word is Chris Brown recently purchased a penthouse in West Hollywood for $1.75 million. The condo spans the entire penthouse level and is 3,000 square feet with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows that show off a balcony overlooking the Los Angeles skyline, top of the line stainless steel appliances, private elevator access, and sleek bamboo wood floors. Chris’s real estate agent was Maurice Umanskey, whose wife is Kyle Richards of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
President Obama gave boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, who visited the White House last week, three grocery bags full of light blue M&Ms with the Presidential Seal on them. Meanwhile, Pacquiao will defend his WBO Welterweight crown against Sugar Shane Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
Even though she boycotted the Grammys because she was angry she wasn’t included in the tribute to Aretha Franklin, Fantasia Barrino is grateful for winning a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for her hit single, “Bittersweet.” Who knew she would be so bitter over a performance that she wouldn’t go pick up her award? That’s not very sweet.
