Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey were among the 120 guests invited to Tina Turner and Erwin Bach’s swanky wedding

Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey
were among the 120 guests invited to attend Tina Turner and Erwin Bach’s swanky wedding celebration and Buddhist spiritual ceremony on
July 21. The BFFs flew to Zurich, Switzerland to celebrate Tina’s recent nuptials and wore white and cream at the bride’s request. According to People
Magazine, Giorgio Armani, David Bowie and Sade were among the party goers. The celebration was held at the couple’
lakeside home which was reportedly decorated with 70,000 red and yellow roses from Holland.

Halle Berry
showed off her pregnant glow after grabbing some lunch at Fig & Olive on July 21 in West Hollywood. The pregnant actress was spotted picking up
take-out for the road and hopped in the car next to her husband, Olivier Martinez, as he drove away after lunch. The previous day, Halle
was dressed to the nines while attending the “X-Men: Days of Future Past” panel at 2013 Comic-Con alongside her co-starJennifer Lawrence.

the JET brand,” said Miller. “I look forward to the continued support from our loyal readers and embracing a new generation of JET subscribers!”.


On Sunday, July 21, the Original Tee Golf Classic (OTGC), a celebrity amateur golf tournament saluted the legendary Renee Powell, one of
my personal heroes and one of the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s (LPGA) first African-American golfers and OTGC’s first female honorees. Celebrity
and golf enthusiasts including New York Knicks assistant coach Herb Williams, former Knicks player John Starks,former New
York Giant Carl Banks, rappers Luke Campbell and Dres of Black Sheep were in attendance. The event
raised $7,000 for Clearview Golf Course, the first intergrated golf course established in 1946 by William Powell, father of Renee. The site is also noted
as the first premiere planned, built, owned and operated African-American golf course in the U.S.

Chris Brown
joined Los Angeles city officials and community leaders at a Justice for Trayvon Martin Walk in the South Central L.A. area known as “The Jungle” on July
20. Chris gave away hundreds of pairs of free Reebok sneakers to underprivileged youngsters at the Jim Gilliam Child Care and Recreational Center.
