Though Jamie Foxx and Samuel L. Jackson were both sporting sunglasses when they showed up to the LG Cinema 3D HDTV Gift Lounge backstage at the Spirit Awards on February 26 in Santa Monica, California, neither hesitated to trade them out for a pair of iced-out shaded to experience the next generation of 3D. Stars also enjoyed Pure Dark Chocolate and received AMC Theater Gift cards. Meanwhile, Jamie hit Elton John’s 19th Annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at the Pacific Design Theater in L.A. on February 27.

Following their now famous domestic violence dispute, Los Angeles Lakers star Matt Barnes and his “Basketball Wives” star fiancee Gloria Govan appeared to be quite the happy couple at Hennessy Black’s NBA All-Star party in L.A. The two were smiling for the cameras and holding hands on the red carpet while giving adoring interviews together. The tables turned the following night when they attended teammate Kobe Bryant’s party as they bickered on the red carpet and walked into the club separately.

Speaking of the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend, Gabrielle Union and celebrity hair stylist Kiyah Wright hosted “The Beauty Suite” for all their celebrity friends at the Warren Tricomi Salon in L.A. Toya Carter, Ciara, Nicole Ari Parker, Tameka Foster, Kelly Price and more came out to get pampered for the main event. The ladies enjoyed complimentary hairstyles, blowouts, manicures, and more while sipping on Icelandic Glacial Bottled Water to help keep their skin hydrated and refreshed. The guests also enjoyed appetizers provided by Great Taste Catering.

Last week, Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson presented a check for $10,000 to the Los Angeles Housing Corporation – a group that provides shelter for homeless families. Sources say the kids dad, the late Michael Jackson, used to take them there to volunteer with the group. The children made the donation on behalf of his Heal The World Foundation. All three of them joined the group’s Youth Board of Advisors last year.

Since we’re chatting about the Jackson Family, Janet’s first book “True You: A Journey to Finding And Loving Yourself,” has received great reviews and has landed in the number one spot on the coveted New York Times Best Sellers list. The icon’s first literary effort reveals her personal struggles with weight gain, self-esteem and finding happiness.
