Chris Brown will spend another month in jail

Chris Brown will spend another month in jail after a judge said on March 17 he was told the crooner made disturbing remarks in rehab about being good at using guns and knives. Brown was arrested on March 14 after he was thrown out of a Malibu, California, facility where he was receiving treatment for anger management, substance abuse and issues related to bipolar disorder. During a group session Brown reportedly said: “I am good at using guns and knives” in response to being asked what he excelled at. He will remain in jail until a probation violation hearing scheduled for April 23. While incarcerated, Chris will only be allowed one shower every two days. He is allowed to work out in his cell and can read library books……….

On Wednesday, March 12, the New York City Mission Society held the Champions for Children Gala at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, where Valentino D. Carlotti, Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff and the Founders of the Sisulu-Walker Charter School of Harlem, New York State’s first charter school, Steven and Maureen Klinksky and William Allen were honored by Gala chairs Lloyd W. Brown II, John U. Moorhead and Stanley H. Rumbough. All guests enjoyed a three-course dinner, followed by dancing in the Grand Ballroom, which was beautifully decorated with stunning floral arrangements in the society’s key colors of green and white, which had been generously donated by Benefit Member, Alix Astir of Trellis Fine Florals. A silent auction was also held where guests’ submitted bids to win numerous luxury items and experiences, including a four-night stay at the Round Hill Resort of Jamaica as donated by the resort………

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams debuted her new single “Flatline.” The slow ballad is the first single from her upcoming EP. The reality star says that she used her divorce from former NFL star Kordell Stewart to draw inspiration for the song, working on it throughout the RHOA season to tap into her emotions. Says Porsha: “It’s really kind of a documentary of everything that I went through to become who I am now.” ‘Flatline” is now available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify………

Producers Kevin McCollum, Doug Morris and Berry Gordy are proud to announce the complete cast for the First National Tour of Motown The Musical. As previously announced, Clifton Oliver and Allison Semmes will star in the leading roles of Berry Gordy and Diana Ross. Portraying groundbreaking Motown artists, Nicholas Christopher will play Smokey Robinson and Jarrar Muse will play Marvin Gaye. The First National Tour begins performances April 22, 2014 at the Oriental Theater in Chicago before continuing to cities across the country…….
