Chris Brown is expected to headline a benefit concert called Virginia Stand Up! A Call to Action in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. The R&B star said in a statement that he “wanted to find a way to contribute personally to the ongoing Haitian relief effort and also support an organization that helps people in need in my home state.” The charitable event takes place on May 15 with all proceeds going directly to the American Red Cross, Greater Richmond Chapter and the Central Virginia Food Bank to help Haiti relief efforts. Atlanta rapper T.I. made an unexpected appearance at a private preview of Atlanta’s latest high-end shoe store, B Chic Shoetique. While at the event, T.I. picked up a few pairs of shoes for his fiancee Tameka “Tiny” Cottle. The opening event, which took place at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead, was hosted by model Jessica White. B Chic Shoetique is the newest venture from Rashidah Ali, the owner of Harlem’s Bourgeois Shoetique. Ali’s latest venture will feature a high-end collection of shoes at a more modest price point.

Days after Shaquille O’Neal warned his ex-wife not to mention him on her VH1 show, she is slamming the basketball star anyway. In a document attained by TMZ, Shaunie O’Neal claims her ex-husband told their six-year old son to deliver death threats to her new boyfriend. Shaunie’s lawyers sent a letter to Shaq’s legal team claiming the NBA legend told his son Shaquir to tell mom’s boyfriend that dad was going to kill him. “Say it now. My daddy is going to kill you,.” he told the scared child. The documents also claim that the basketball star “interrogated” the couple’s children about mom’s new man.

BET’s 106 & Park host, Terrence J celebrated his red-carpet birthday with co-host Rocsi, and New York-based rapper, D-Bless, along with the cast members of BET’s “The Game,” and a slew of other celebrities at Club Amnesia in Manhattan on April 14. Trey Songz sang “Happy Birthday” to Terrence. Like D-Bless, Terrence J knows the importance of taking full advantage of great opportunities and focusing on his career, so it’s no surprise that the two rang in Terrence J’s birthday celebration together.

According to Janet Charlton, Ice-T’s wife Coco dropped by the “Law and Order: SVU” set in her white Cadillac and brought their new baby – a tiny four week old bulldog named Spartacus. The doggie was the talk of the set and he was introduced to a full grown bulldog, but they didn’t click.
