According to the Chicago Sun Times, people who know both Vanessa and Kobe Bryant long wondered what it would take for the NBA star’s wife finally to throw in the towel and and exit the couple’s 10-year marriage. Vanessa stood by her husband’s side as he faced that 2003 alleged rape scandal and suffered in silence as she learned about Kobe’s repeated affairs and flings with other women. Kobe’s latest extra marital affair was so blatant, the couple’s daughters were said to be in the woman’s presence on a number of occasions and were fully aware their dad was cheating on their mom. He reportedly also laughed off his apologies about affairs to her in conversations with his closest friends.

Wetv announced that the network has greenlit the original series Tamar & Vince for its 2012 programming slate. The series will showcase Tamar Braxton and husband Vincent Herbert as they navigate their hectic lives, from Tamar’s solo album to Vince’s busy career as a successful music producer. Wetv has ordered eight, one-hour episodes tentatively scheduled to premiere in fourth quarter 2012, production begins in March. The Huffington Post is reporting that Nicki Minaj was recently recognized with a Teacher of the Year Award, due to her overall influence on the students at South Florida-based school, Better Education Place. The raptress shares the honor with Lil Wayne for reportedly having the ability to “capture and maintain attention.” In addition, the hip hop stars were judged alongside actual teachers.
