Alicia Keys will be hosting the 2019 Grammy Awards show

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Alicia Keys will be hosting the 2019 Grammy Awards show. The songstress made the announcement with a behind-the-scenes video posted to her social media channels on January 15. “It’s official! 15-time Grammy winner @Alicia Keys will host the 61st #Grammys, marking her first time as master of ceremonies for Music’s Biggest Night,” announced the official Grammy Awards Twitter account……..

Canadian hip-hop duo, 88 Glam, announced the dates for their whirlwind 2019 Canadian concert tour featuring twelve performances in an eighteen-day period this January 2019. Founders Derek Wise and 88 Camino debuted the name in November 2017 when they premiered their first music video “12” featuring a cameo from The Weeknd and the first track on their April 2018 album, “88 Glam Reloaded.” Their second album, “88 Glam 2,” released in November 2018 by XO Records and Republic Records includes collaboration with Gunna (Track #10 “Rocks”) and Nav (Track 6 “It’s a Flex”). Both albums are available on iTunes…….


Legendary costume designer Bob Mackie, who just received unanimous rave reviews for his costume design for Broadway’s newest hit, The Cher Show, and entrepreneur/philanthropist Reginald (“Reggie”) Van Lee will be honored at TDF’s 2019 Gala on Monday, March 11 at Manhattan’s Gotham Hall in New York City. TDF, the not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing the power of the performing arts to everyone, which is in its 51st year of service to audiences and the performing arts community, will present the TDF Founders Award to ten-time Tony Award nominee, director/choreographer/librettist Graciela Daniele.
