Ludacris was the other big baller down on Miami Beach during Super Bowl weekend. He turned the gated Mediterranean mansion into the House of Conjure for a few days, introducing his new Conjure cognac to tastemakers. The rapper reportedly created the spirit with Birkedal Hartmann, a Norwegian-owned Cognac producer, from a blend of some 40 distinct brandies. He also hosted a listening party for his seventh album, “Battle of the Sexes,” set to be released March 9. Says Luda: “I wanted to do something different, I wanted to look at stuff from a male and female perspective. There’s a whole lot of back and forth.”
I got a chance to attend Leigh Steinberg’s 24th Annual Super Bowl Party at Miami Bayfront Park on Saturday, February 6. Sponsored by World Water & Solar Technoligies, Inc., Xenith Presidium SSE and Miller Coors, the party was the place to be at this Super Bowl weekend. Prior to the event, partners and clients, guests and celebrities who attended the event had an opportunity to assist with the Haiti relief efforts. Guests were asked to sponsor Mobile MaxPure Machines in Haiti right now. Leigh Steinberg, the real life Jerry McGuire, was able to raise $20,000 at the event to send to Haiti and to its people. Also all remaining non-alcoholic beverages, imperishable food and unworn promotional apparel will be shipped directly to the Haitian people.
