Whitney Houston is seeking help. The singer, who has struggled with substance abuse in the past, has recently entered an out-patient treatment program. “Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment,” her rep tells People in an statement. “Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.” A music industry source who was with Whitney two weeks ago tells TMZ: “She was plastered and she was a mess.” She has been in for 10 days. Sources say she is cleansing herself to get ready for a new movie, which is most likely “Getting To Happy,” the sequel to “Waiting To Exhale.”
The Brotherhood/Sister Sol non-profit organization hosted their 7th Annual Voices Benefit at New York City’s ESPACE last Thursday night.
