VH1 announced the return of “Hip Hop Honors” to celebrate the trailblazing first ladies of hip hop. The show will pay homage to the women pioneers, trailblazers and trend-setters who lead a movement and infiltrated the ranks of the male-dominated genre to make their voices heard, and still do today.

“VH1’s Hip Hop Honors” will air Monday, July 11th at 9PM ET, live from NYC.

Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit shingle, along with partner Shakim Compere are executive/producers, along with Monami Productions, and blacjac Entertainment Group.

For VH1, Amy Doyle, Ryan Kroft and Keshia Williams are executive producers; Elena Diaz is executive in charge of talent and Leah Lane and Joe Buoye are executives in charge of production.
