The School Reform Commission and the School District of Philadelphia hosted an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly constructed West Philadelphia
High School last week to celebrate the commencement of the new 2011-2012 school year.
The ceremony took place on the morning of the first day of school, and was followed by a community reception afterwards.
